The boat was in generally good condition, and very easy to handle for a first timer (which I was).  Everything worked as it should, and the galley was definitely up to the task of preparing lunch and simple meals

The team at Nicols were incredibly helpful and supportive - couldn't have asked for more

We sailed for a day on the Canal du Garonne, and then 3 days on the Baise river from Buzet-sure-Baise.  The river especially was magical - so quiet, with lots of bird life (especially storks!), and the small towns we stayed at were charming and beautiful.
